Leslie Newton earned her Associate’s degree at Thomas before going on to earn her B.A. in English and her M.F.A. with a concentration in writing from Long Island University Southampton. She has offered writing courses at UMA and at the University College in Bangor, including a service learning course that featured a Habitat for Humanity alternative spring break component. Leslie is offering a course this semester in English composition.
