Background: I worked as a teacher at high schools in both Maine and Massachusetts. These experiences help me understand the issues facing students that are entering college.

Degrees: B.A. in English --Smith College
M.Ed. in special education--Fitchburg State College

Teaching Philosophy: We learn by engaging in interesting and challenging activities and by sharing our enthusiasms with others.  All the voices matter—in music, on the stage, and in the classroom.
