Graduate Division CT571 - Web Design This course provides students with a comprehensive introduction to and hands-on experience with the languages (HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, XML) and with software tools (NotePad, FrontPage, and Paint.Net) used in web page creation. Through readings, lectures, demonstrations, hands-on exercises and assignments, and an individual project, students will have an opportunity to learn and demonstrate an understanding of current web programming practices. Emphasis will be put on concepts relating to design, functionality and usability. |
