Website Design Project Guidelines

MK 337 – Marketing on the Internet

For the capstone project of this course, you will design a website for a business. Your website must consist of a minimum of 7 web pages.  You may use any web page authoring tool that you wish including HTML, Word, FrontPage, Flash, etc.

Follow the guidelines below for developing your website, as your site will be graded according to how well the guidelines are met.

Part I: Create a storyboard (or map) on paper of the basic design of your site. This will be due on Monday, April 7th.

Part II: Submit the URL for your site Monday, April 28th so I can create a class web page with links to everyone’s sites.

Part III: During the last week of classes you will present your site to the class and explain how you met the guidelines.  There will be a sign-up sheet available in April.

Part IV: Each student will fill out an evaluation form for each student that presents. These forms will be available before the presentations begin.
